Pittsburg Rotary celebrates anniversary by donating to Lord’s Diner


THIS JUST IN… A NEW BOARD MEMBER IS SWORN IN TO THE JOPLIN SCHOOL WHILE BOARD PRESIDENT WILL KEEP HIS JOB FOR ANOTHER YEAR. DR. MICHAEL JOSEPH OFFICIALLY JOINED THE BOARD TONIGHT, ALONG WITH SHARROCK DERMOTT WHO WAS SWORN IN FOR ANOTHER TERM IN OFFICE. BOARD MEMBERS RE-ELECTED DERMOTT AS PRESIDENT, WHICH GIVES HIM ANOTHER TERM IN THAT OFFICE. THERE ARE SEVEN MEMBERS OF THE JOPLIN SCHOOL BOARD, AND TWO OF THOSE POSITIONS WERE DECIDED AT THE POLLS EARLIER THIS A LOCAL PHILANTHROPIC ORGANZATION RANG IN ITS ANNIVERSARY IN A BIG WAY THIS AFTERNOON. GRETCHEN, IN HONOR LAUREN JOHNSON: THE PHILANTHROPIC ORGANIZATION HAS BEEN SUPPORTING THE DINER SINCE ITS START IN JANUARY OF 2017.
