JENNIFER: WHAT ARE YOU PUTTING IN?>>I USED OLIVE OIL. YOU CAN USE PAN SPRAY OR A COOKING SPRAY. WE DO OURS WITH A LITTLE BROCCOLI, SOME DICED SWEET POTATOES. JENNIFER: ALREADY COOKED, RIGHT?>>ALREADYBLANCHED. SPINACH. JENNIFER: I PUT SPINACH IN EGGS EVERY DAY. >>HEALTHY GRAIN, QUINOA HERE. IT’S REALLY GOOD. WE LIKE TO USE A PICKLED PEPPER PEPPADEW. JENNIFER: DO YOU FIND THAT IN THE PRODUCE SECTION?>>IT’S ACTUALLY CANNED. AND EGG WHITES TO KEEP IT — JENNIFER: YOUR EGG WHITES, PERFECT. >>YOU DON’T HAVE TO BE AN AT-HOME MASTER, COOK, BECAUSE WE’RE GOING TO SCRAMBLE IT UP. JENNIFER: I LIKE HOW YOU — I ALWAYS DO THIS AT HOME TOO, I TRY TO ANYWAY, AND I’VE SEEN CHEFS DO THIS. YOU PUT THE VEGGIES AND STUFF IN FIRST. >>WANT THEM TO WARM UP A LITTLE BIT. JENNIFER: IT’S NICE BECAUSE YOU TAKE REQUESTS. IF SOMEBODY NEEDS YOU TO LEAVE OUT THE OIL OR SOMETHING DIFFERENT, YOU CAN ACCOMMODATE THAT. >>DEFINITELY. THIS IS ACTUALLY USING THE QUINOA, IT’S GLUTEN-FREE SO FOR PEOPLE WHO HAVE GLUTEN ALLERGIES, WE TRY TO ACCOMMODATE EVERYONE AT THE RESTAURANT. JENNIFER: WHILE YOU’RE COOKING THAT, WE’LL TALK ABOUT OTHER MEALS YOU HAVE. WE KEYED IN ON THE BRUSSELS SPROUT SALAD. >>IT’S FRESH BRUSSELS SPROUTS, SHREDDED, APPLES, DRIED CRANBERRIES AND A MAPLE VINAIGRETTE. THAT’S A VEGAN DISH. NO DAIRY OR MEAT IN IT. JENNIFER: NICE.
